Comprehensive Eye Examination

Regular eye exams are crucial for maintaining eye health and vision care. Both children and adults should undergo regular eye exams to ensure optimal vision and eye health, and to detect any issues early on. Eye diseases often go unnoticed in their early stages, but delaying treatment can lead to more severe problems. Adults over 40 are at higher risk for eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and retinal degeneration, making adult eye health more important than just vision correction. A "Comprehensive Eye Examination" can detect eye diseases early and initiate timely treatment.

Comprehensive Eye Examination for Children ($950) (Suitable for children and adolescents aged 5-17)

Children heavily rely on their vision to learn, so it's crucial to ensure their eyesight develops properly. Evaluating children's eye health extends beyond just checking for nearsightedness; a comprehensive eye exam is necessary to identify potential vision issues like lazy eye, crossed eyes, or other eye conditions. Detecting these issues early on can enable timely treatment, promoting healthy eye development.

  • Vision assessment
  • Testing for refractive errors
  • Colour vision testing
  • Assessment of depth perception
  • Evaluation of binocular coordination
  • Non-contact measurement of intraocular pressure
  • Post-dilation refractive error testing
  • Retinal imaging
  • * Corneal topography measurement (if contact lenses are required)
  • *Optical coherence tomography (if myopia control plans are being considered)
  • *Fundus defocus testing (using MRT multispectral refractive topography instrument)
  • Optical biometry for measuring axial length
  • Comprehensive eye health check
  • *The necessity of these tests will be based on the child's individual circumstances, and they will not be conducted if not needed.
